You may be asking yourself where to go and when? We have a month by month guide to the best locations to honeymoon and the ones to avoid.

January

  • Sun: New Zealand, Australia, Barbados and Maldives
  • Activity: Austria and Morocco for skiing/snowboarding, for safari South Africa, Kenya and Tanzania
  • Best to avoid: It's rainy and cyclone season in Fiji and Malaysia

February

  • Sun: Mexico, Goa, Caribbean, Thailand, Maldives and Costa Rica
  • Activity: skiing/snowboarding – Pyrenees, Alps, Finland
  • Best to avoid: Heavy rain fall in Mauritius and Seychelles

March

  • Sun: Egypt, Brazil, Malaysia, Dubai, Zanzibar, Sri Lanka and Cuba
  • Activity: For safari – South Africa and Kenya
  • Best to avoid: Heavy rain fall in Mauritius and dust winds in Beijing

April

  • Sun: Maldives, Florida, Thailand, Egypt, French Polynesia and Malaysia
  • Activity: For safari – Botswana and Namibia
  • Best to avoid: rainy season in Kenya and Tanzania

  • Sun: Seychelles, Fiji, Mauritius, Brazil, Florida and Malta

  • Best to avoid: uncertain weather in Maldives and Sri Lanka

  • Sun: Greek islands, Canada, Hawaii, Peru, Fiji and the USA

  • Best to avoid: Monsoon season in Goa, uncertain weather in Maldives and Sri Lanka and unbearably hot in South America

  • Sun: Italy, Canary Islands, Canada, Europe and Fiji
  • Activity: For skiing/snowboarding – Alaska and New Zealand. For safari – Namibia and Botswana
  • Best to avoid: Unsettled weather – Costa Rica, Sri Lanka and Maldives

August

  • Sun: Croatia and Hawaii
  • Activity: for safari - Tanzania
  • Best to avoid: Hurricane season in Florida and the Caribbean

September

  • Activity: For skiing/snowboarding – New Zealand

  • Activity: For skiing/snowboarding – Canada, for safari - Zambia
  • Best to avoid: High winds in British Virgin Islands and too cold in Europe

November

  • Sun: Goa, Bahamas, the Cook Islands, Egypt, Dubai, Chile and India
  • Activity: For safari – South Africa
  • Best to avoid: High rainfall in Malaysia, Seychelles and southern Thailand

  • Sun: Thailand, Caribbean, New Zealand and Maldives
  • Activity: For skiing/snowboarding – Alps and Austria
  • Best to avoid: Rainy and cyclone seasons in Fiji, Seychelles and Malaysia
