Are Brad & Angelina set to become Mr & Mrs Jolie-Pitt

The couple have been surrounded by wedding rumours in recent years, with false claims that they were to marry in India, the Seychelle Islands and New Orleans.  The couple famously said they would only consider marriage when it is legal for everyone to marry, gay or straight.

The couple met on the set of Mr & Mrs Smith in 2004 and were plagued by rumours of an affair. Pitt was married to Friends star Jennifer Aniston at the time.  Pitt and Aniston announced they had decided to separate after seven years together in January 2005, which set the rumour mill into overdrive about Jolie and Pitt's alleged affair.

During the summer of 2005 the couple were seen together with increasing frequency, but neither confirmed or denied the rumours that they were a couple.  The first public acknowledgement of their relationship came in January 2006 when Angelina confirmed she was pregnant with Brad's child.  The couple now have six children under the age of ten, 3 adopted and 3 biological.
