Kim Kardashian & Kris Humphries to divorce
Reality TV star Kim and Basketball player Kris are set to end their marriage after just 72 days. The world witnessed the seemingly happy couple wed in a fairytale ceremony on the 20th August 2011. The wedding reportedly cost a whopping £6.2 Million, but earned the couple £11 Million from magazine deals, TV coverage & endorsements.
The rumour mill has been in overdrive in recent weeks, with many speculating that the newly weds were set to seperate. It has been reported that friends of Kim have said that the broody reality star ended her marriage to Kris as he was not ready to become a father.
In a statement Kim said "After careful consideration, I have decided to end my marriage, I hope everyone understands this was not an easy decision. I had hoped this marriage was forever, but sometimes things don't work out as planned. We remain friends and we wish each other the best."
