Unsuspecting Lucy boards the 19:57 to Watford and gets the surprise of her life. As the train pulled out of London Euston station, she and the rest of the commuters were left stunned when a choir breaks into song.
Nothing could have prepared Lucy for what was about to happen. The Adam Street Singers were in full swing of their rendition of the Bill Wither's hit Lovely Day, when her boyfriend Adam appeared and got down on one knee. A video of the proposal has since become a hit on You Tube and can be seen below.
Overwhelmed Lucy accepted the proposal and appeared stunned by the magnificent proposal. Adam has since said "The biggest problem was making sure Lucy made the train". Adam's secret plan almost never happened, when Lucy decided at the last minute on the day that she was going to drive, Adam had to make sure that Lucy took the train and disconnected the car battery, ensuring that Lucy would be on board.
The couple have since said that they have not made any wedding plans yet, but the pressure is on to make it as memorable as the proposal. At Ideal Bride Magazine we always love to hear our reader's feedback, tell us what you think.
