Times of difficulty: Demi Moore & Ashton Kutcher to divorce

After Demi's announcement Ashton took to his twitter page where he wrote, "I will forever cherish the time I spent with Demi. Marriage is one of the most difficult things in the world and unfortunately they fail. Love and light, AK." The ex couple are still following each other on twitter. Following the public humiliation caused by Ashton's alleged infidelity, Demi is preparing to battle it out over their £290m fortune.

The Indecent Proposal actress and Just Married actor, married on 24th September 2005 after two years of dating. The 16 year age gap between the bride and groom, saw Demi being widely known as a cougar (a woman who dates younger men). It was Ashton's first marriage and marriage number 3 three for Moore. Moore was previously married to Sixth Sense actor, Bruce Willis and singer Freddy Moore.
