Top Tips Planning a Stag Do

Timing : It is crucial that you give yourself plenty of time to plan the stag weekend, the earlier you book it the better the deals you will get on flights, hotels etc. If you leave it until last minute there is a possibility that there wont be any flights, train tickets, packages left. In an ideal world you should look at getting in early (at least 4 months in advance if possible).

Get a list of everyone attending & contact details : Make sure the stag gives you contact details for everyone that he would like to come, this is essential during the run up of the stag do and also really handy during the weekend; just in case anyone goes missing. The best way to start, once you have a list of the lads, is to organise a night somewhere convenient for you and the stag to discuss exactly what he would like to do.

The initial stag do meeting : The initial stag do meeting usually takes place in a pub or drinking establishment, this has been known for years as a bit of a ritual. This is a great time to find out what sort of things the stag would like to do for his last night of freedom and also is a great excuse to go out and spend some male bonding time and of course have a beverage or two.

Booking the stag weekend : After discussing with the stag what he would like to do, it is now left in your capable hands to give him a weekend that he will never forget, so we would suggest doing lots of research into reputable stag weekend providers and what they offer. At this stage it is advised that you are clear on where you would like to go on the stag, the budget (be realistic with this as this will influence who will be able to attend, remember to include transportation in this) and the activities.
