Celebrity Engagement: Marvin Humes & Rochelle Wiseman
JLS star Marvin Humes, 26, proposed to The Saturdays singer, Rochelle Wiseman, 22, whilst on a caribbean holiday. An excited Rochelle took to Twitter to announce the couples engagement, posting a photo of the happy couple toasting with champagne on the beach.
Rochelle flashed her heart shaped diamond engagement ring and told fans "It's official Marvin proposed 2me 2day, wanted 2 tell u b4 some1 else did! SO excited 2 b Mrs Humes. x" Marvin joined his fiancee on Twitter writing from the official JLS Twitter account "Happy New Year everyone!!!! So everyone hears it from me... Rochelle and I are engaged!!! Party time tonight! Have a great one..All love..Marv x."
The chart topping couple began dating in early 2010 after meeting at various award shows and events, by November of that year the couple had made the decision to split, both claiming work commitments were keeping them from spending time together, despite trying hard to keep the relationship going. Marvin once flew from London to LA just to spend a couple of hours with Rochelle who was working Stateside with The Saturdays.
It wasn't long before the couple were back in each others arms, the couple kept a low profile during the first few weeks of their rekindled romance, but were soon spotted in public. The couple seem stronger than ever and the ring on Rochelle's finger confirms the couple are meant to be. Ideal Bride Magazine wish the newly engaged couple all the best for the future.
