Edibubble: Gifts That Make You Go mmmm

Edibubble creates fabulously fun gifts, favours and table centres that are sure to make your big day even sweeter. Perfect for couples who want to add that wow factor to their wedding reception; Edibubble offer a range of sweet trees, candy cupcakes, hot chocolate spoons and cake pops and are all lovingly made by hand and bound to go down a treat with you and your guests.

Launched by Louise Blackmore (aka The Queen of Creativity) shortly after the birth of her son in 2011, her vision was to take the essence and joy that a beautiful bouquet can provide, but to substitute the flowers for delicious sweets. Louise tells us what led to the creation of Edibubble "having spent a few days in hospital I was surprised to find the tradition of bringing flowers to the bedside had long since been banned. So this got me thinking, what could relatives, loved ones, friends and neighbours take with them into hospital to cheer up the person they were visiting?"

Edibubble caters for all occasions and has hand crafted gifts for weddings from humble settings in rural Bristol to the grandeur of the famous Groucho Club in trendy Soho, London. Louise says "I love what I do, I get to work with sweets all day long and create unique edible gifts that make people happy. I particularly enjoy weddings, it's nice to know you've helped a couple mastermind the day they've always dreamed of."

The product range looks stunning and gets even tastier when you start to see how they can be used. The hot chocolate spoons double up as a yummy favour and place name setting, the mini sweet trees create the perfect little present for any little helpers and the large sweet trees make an ideal ‘We love you' gift for the mother's of the bride and groom; it's important to keep them sweet after all.

A Word From Edibubble

What kind of service can your couples expect?

"At Edibubble we aim to provide first class service. We are a family business with a friendly approach and our door of communication is always open. We want to enhance a client's event with unique, often personalised gifts and like to work with the clients to help bring the vision of their event to fruition. If a couple would like to discuss any specific requests they can reach me on my mobile, via email or if in the local Bristol area, meet for a friendly chat.

We offer free delivery of our products within the local Bristol area, with a small surcharge per mile for deliveries further afield. We are happy to deliver the products and arrange them at the venue at the client's request; so that there's one less thing for them to worry about on the day."

What advice can you offer couples when sourcing wedding favour and decoration suppliers?

"Look for a friendly company that is willing to work with you to help realise your dreams. Chat to the supplier to see if there is any discount for ordering in bulk. Try and obtain a sample of the product so that you can see what you will be getting before you place a large order."

When should a couple order their favours?

"It is best to organise and place a large order well in advance, say 3-4 months before the big day if opting for consumables like sweets or cake pops. Forward planning means that you can tick off the favours so that you have one less thing to worry about when the big day approaches. It also means that you are guaranteed to get the favour you want without being disappointed if the supplier is already booked for that date."

What do you think will be the next big wedding favour trend?

"I think people always like to give something unique and personalised. People are getting more and more creative, so the world really is their oyster."

How important are the wedding favours?

"Wedding favours are the one thing that people can take away with them that comes from the Bride & Groom. It's always nice to give the guests something unique that they will talk about for months after and possibly mention in conversations to friends."

Available to order online at edibubble-gifts.co.uk Edibubbles' sweet creations can be bought as seen, or if you have a favourite sweet or colour scheme in mind for your wedding, the products can be tailored to suit all taste buds. Louise relishes a challenge and is always happy to help. Keep up to date with the latest news from Edibubble by following on Facebook & Twitter.
