After 15 years working in the city and the arrival of little ones, Katherine Costa decided it was definitely time to let out her creative side. It was after helping a close friend plan her wedding that Katherine noticed a gap in the market for gorgeous high quality alternatives to fresh flowers. Katherine says "I've always had a passion for unusual design and the special events in our lives having personal style. Which led to the launch of K.C.'s Table Art & Brooch Bouquets this year, I am led by a passionate belief that every wedding and event is unique.

All our products are made to order and are all about the style and personalities of our brides and grooms. We provide stunning alternatives to fresh flowers, our beautifully finished bouquets and centrepieces are unusual and a little bit quirky. With the added bonus that the bride, groom and guests can keep them as mementos of the wedding day. We are not governed by season or colour, we can match any theme at any time of the year."

"Couples can expect a very personalised service. The first stage after contacting us is to meet. I get to know the couple to find out their personal style and what they are looking for and work within their budget. All our centrepieces and brooch, button and vintage bouquets are tailor made and therefore unique. Every detail is important, we make sure our contribution to any wedding is perfect on the day and beyond."

What advice can you offer couples when sourcing keepsake bouquets, artificial blooms and centrepieces?

"Have a clear idea of the themes and colours before ordering your keepsake bouquets and centrepieces. All the fine details add to the feel of your big day so make sure that your supplier's finishes are perfect."

When should a couple order their keepsake bouquets, artificial blooms and centrepieces?

"I would advise ordering at least 3 months before the wedding, especially if you have a particular supplier in mind."

Centrepieces contribute to the atmosphere of the venue and can set the feel for the day and as they are everlasting, they can be given as memento to special guests."
