An English Country Garden Wedding Shoot

Vanilla Rose Weddings & Events is based in Oxford, and dedicated to helping couples across Oxfordshire, Wiltshire and The Cotswolds to create their perfect wedding by working with the best suppliers in the local area. Vanilla Rose Wedding & Events owner, Jeni Crabb explains the inspiration behind the shoot, "I wanted to create an English Country Garden theme for this photo shoot as it's a wedding theme which never fades and is just perfect in a lovely rustic barn, like the Merriscourt Galleries in the Cotswolds where the photo shoot took place.

I collaborated with local Oxfordshire suppliers who each have their own quintessential style to create this gorgeous setting. The beautiful bouquets by Foxgloves and Roses were lovingly created with seasonal English flowers that are typical of a country garden, with a variety of roses, sweet peas and peonies.

The flowers chosen have a soft feel that tied in perfectly with the stunning gardens and views from the venue. The dresses by Cariad Bride are just stunning and I selected these to reflect the country garden theme with a floaty feel but with colours and detail that would pair with the floral arrangements.

The wedding stationery, bunting, jewellery, cakepops and cupcakes are handmade by each supplier, who are thoroughly passionate about what they do. The focus of this photoshoot is to inspire couples to source their wedding details locally and to show that you can create a beautiful style using English resources."
