Hen Heaven offer this activity and it'll definitely have you and the girls in fits of giggles!

Trust us, your friends and family will love it! The class is taught as a group and you will be taught how to seductively shake your hips in true Egyptian style. As a hen activity, it enables you to try something new and have fun with your friends. We're sure all ages will enjoy this and you never know you may even decide to sign up for additional classes!

Bellying dancing is known as 'The Goddess of Dancing' and is one of the most sensual styles of dances. It is based on an ancient social dance, which is said to have originated from North Africa. This style of dance celebrates the shape of the female body, so it will leave you feeling confident and seductive whatever your age or size!

In addition, it has recently become a very popular form of exercise, due to the circular abdomen and hip movement. It is a fun and sexy way to stay in shape and improve your fitness too! Great for bridal parties who are looking for a fun way to lose a few extra pounds for the big day.

Basic Belly Dancing Moves

The Belly Roll

Put your feet together, knees slightly bent with arms at your side. Breathe in and lift your chest and crunch in your stomach and release with your stomach rolling (a lift and pull technique.) If it helps, use your hands placed on your abdomen as you breathe in and then breathe out.

Shoulder Shimmy Move

Put your feet together, knees slightly bent with arms at your side and hands forward. Then move one shoulder at a time forward, while the other moves back. Try not to move your hands just your shoulders.

Hand Movements

Begin by warming up the wrists; this is done by holding your hands together and rolling your hands around. Then pull your fingers to stretch them. Then move your hands into a figure of 8 and roll your fingers into the move. This is a popular belly dancing hand movement.
