Hen Heaven: Valencia Hen Weekend

This month we are going to head over to the stylish Spanish city of Valencia, famous for its Paella and party lifestyle, to have a look at why it's a great choice of destination for your hen weekend:

Travel

When planning a weekend trip it is very important to look at the travel times, especially if you are travelling with a large group all coming from various parts of the country. It is just an hour and a half's flight from London to Valencia and it can be reached from all major British airports via a number of airlines including BA and Easyjet. This means, if booked in advance, cheap tickets can be purchased which will keep costs down for everyone.

Climate

Playa Las Arena

This beach is the most accessible beach in the city with a huge host of activities and events going on. There are some fantastic restaurants where you can sample some of the best Spanish cuisine.

Playa de Malvarossa

This beach is the main beach in Valencia and is usually very busy and bustling with people, complete with a great lively atmosphere.

Playa de Patacona

This beach is less crowded and further out of the city; here you can expect a more tranquil, calm setting. If you would like to escape the hustle and bustle of some of the other neighbouring beaches then this is the one for you to visit.
