2013 Wedding Trends: Peppermint Creme
The soft and soothing shades of peppermint will adorn save the dates, wedding invitations, wedding cakes and cupcakes, bridesmaids dresses and wedding bouquets in 2013. After an elevated presence on the runways in 2012, peppermint is going to take the wedding world by storm in the coming years.
Embrace the theme by using more than the colour by incorporating mint into your big day, think signature wedding cocktails such as Mojito's, peppermint creams as wedding favours and fresh mint table centerpieces. The sudden demand for peppermint colour schemes can also be credited to the vintage trend; peppermint accessories were seen in both the home and personal items in the 1940's and 1950's.
